The KMR/FMR mower-conditioners are instantly recognized by their two profiled conditioning rollers. The same width as the cutter bar the rollers contra-rotate, taking the cut crop quickly off the cutting discs and between the rollers. A full width sandwich of material is conditioned with a crimping action which is more effective on the stems of  the crop, protecting  fragile leaves.
Conditioning intensity is varied by adjusting the minimum gap and the spring pressure exerted between the upper and lower rollers. Manufactured from low weight nylon the rollers are highly durable to maintain effective conditioning over a long life.
