Unique construction of the rollers

Made from high-grade steel, the rollers with ribbed profile and 3 mm wall thickness are extremely sturdy due to their particular shape and internal strength. The small diameter rollers (190 mm) provide maximum density keeping horsepower requirement to a minimum. This superb roller design ensures 100 per cent reliability, no matter if extremely wet silage or dry straw has to be handled.

Internal strength

The inner reinforcing discs and solid forged one piece end discs and shafts are a design unique to Vicon reducing stress concentration on the drive shaft and increasing durability of the roller.

The shaft ends with toothed profile are capable of withstanding the most severe loads - a guarantee of durability and reliable operation.

Serrated roller
Bale Trak ribbed profile section has a steep faced front edge to maintain the turning force on the bale even in low friction conditions such as dry short straw.

Well designed roller bearings
The sturdy drive train of the compression rollers is conceived to withstand the most severe loads. Rollers are mounted on heavy-duty bearings which are securely bolted onto the bale chamber walls with reinforcing plates for additional strength.
